DESCRIPTION:Santa Camp 2024\nAugust 23\, 24\, & 25\nWhere: Barbara C Harris Camp and Conference Center – Greenfield\, NH\nSanta Camp has education as the main focus\, but additional group and individual activities contribute to a unique\, memorable weekend of learning\, camaraderie and fun. Recapture your youthful joy with a trip to summer camp — without the tents\, campfire meals\, and rustic facilities. The conference center provides hotel-like rooms\, full meal service and modern amenities.\nSanta Camp – A School for Santa\, Mrs. Claus & the Elves\, is offered and taught by New England Santa Society members. The event will run Friday noon to Sunday afternoon. The program is open to anyone 21 years old and over who portrays or is interested in becoming Santa Claus\, Mrs. Claus\, elf or other holiday character. All instructors and staff donate their time and receive no compensation. All proceeds from Santa Camp go to supporting New England Santa Society\, a non-profit organization.\nCourse Descriptions\nCOMPREHENSIVE COURSE – Preparing for the Sleigh: This extensive course is for the new and experienced Santa\, Mrs. Claus & Elves. It covers everything from creating the character\, performance techniques\, finding assignments and much more.\nMRS. CLAUS & HELPERS PROGRAM: A full weekend program of lessons & activities for experienced Mrs. Claus and helpers. The lessons will explore ways Mrs. Claus and others can operate as independent performers as well as with a partner. In addition to developing new skills\, the group will share ideas and projects.\nADVANCED WORKSHOP – North Pole Technology: This advanced workshop will focus on using technology\, computer programs & apps\, internet services\, social media and other options to enhance Clauses’ service\, marketing and management.\nADVANCED WORKSHOP – Performing for the Clauses: This program focuses on activities and strategies to create magical and memorable appearances. Participants will learn as well as teach stories\, techniques\, props\, activities and other ideas for all types of holiday appearance. DESCRIPTION:New day! Join us for fun and fellowship at Laurie’s 909 at 93 New Salem Street in Wakefield\, MA! \n\n\n \nThis is a fun and informal get together to socialize with and meet fellow Santas\, Mrs. Claus\, holiday performers and helpers. It is open to all for FREE. We order off the menu so you can find something to match your taste and budget. \n\n\n \nAll Suppers start with a Social Hour at 6:00pm\, Dinner at 6:30pm. \n\n\n \nTo ensure great\, timely service\, our participating restaurants are requesting an attendee count prior to the event date. \n\n\n \nRSVP IS NEEDED by the Saturday before the Supper \n\n\n \nSigning up for the dinners is FREE. At the Supper\, we ask for a donation of $2.00 per person.
