Hope that got your attention! It’s true! We have been invited to a free Lobster Bake JUST for us on July 22 from 4-5:30. For the Love of Food & Drink folks catered Dave Banks’ funeral and are friends with his family.
The event will take place at the Saltwater Farm in Wells, ME. From 6-8pm the organization “For the Love of Food and Drink” is having an event, open to the public, where they will have a Christmas in July party and announce their Festival of Trees and Toy Drive. They would love to have us all stay and participate, mingling with the guests and singing Christmas Songs! As an appreciation of them putting on this wonderful bake for us I ask all who are attending to please bring along a toy or two for their toy drive. They need a headcount by July 17th, so they have enough food. This is a great way to pay homage to Dave Banks and all he did for the Wells area.
I am aware this is the same day as the Manchester Supper, and this event WILL NOT be in place of the Manchester supper. The supper will still go on as planned.
