Coping with the End of the Christmas Season – Zoom
Coping with the End of the Christmas Season – Zoom
January 9, 2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
For the last two months, it’s been go-go-go; Ho Ho Ho. We’ve been the center of attention. The subject of adoring eyes. The source of good cheer, moving memories, unbounded wonder, and unquestioning belief. Santa & Mrs. Claus bask in the love, excitement, joy, and pleasure that comes with the job. Then Christmas comes and all that abruptly ends.
The end of the Christmas season can bring on many emotions: relief, joy, satisfaction, exhaustion, sadness, anxiety, illness, and even depression. Learning how to deal with them make the abrupt end a softer landing.
Marriage & Family Counselor Dave Wayman will lead a discussion on the impact of the season’s end and how to recognize and cope with various tiggers, emotions and situations that can occur. Strategies for reducing the negative emotions and reactions will be discussed.
There will be an open discussion on how you respond to the end of the season and actions that help you get through.
Mr. Wyman, with a private practice in Salem, NH, has many years experience doing what he loves: helping folks.
The presentation will begin at 7:00 pm although the Zoom will be open at 6:30 pm for those who just want to socialize before the presentation.
The event is open free to all holiday performers but registration is required here:
