ADVANCED WORKSHOP: Marketing for the Clauses
This year’s advanced program will focus on promoting your holiday services and activities. This is a hands-on seminar which will lead participants through preparing or upgrading promotional materials and marketing plan for the coming season.
Focused activities will work on creating or updating the marketing plan, writing a Santa/Mrs. Claus profile and boilerplate for the business, selecting an outstanding photo portfolio, preparing promotional letters and materials, establishing an on-line presence, using social media, and taking advantage of booking and other online services.
A variety of resources, software, tools and techniques will be provided. Time will be provided for individuals to create components to use in the coming season. Guided assistance and tutoring will be provided. Participants will be asked to bring existing materials to share and enhance. A laptop or tablet is recommended.
Participants should have completed an introductory Santa/Mrs. Claus course of some kind and have two or more years of experience with numerous appearances. If space allows, those with less experience may be allowed to participate.
